Downloading music for free is like stealing? Nowadays, more and more people download for free but, in this way, the work of the artists is taken for granted. Musicians should earn money from their work as any other job. So I think that, in most cases, music shouldn't be free. In addition, if I listen to an album that I haven't paid I don't feel any affection to that album because I can easily forget it somewhere in my house and don't even care about it. In contrast, it can rarely happen that some musicians sell their songs for free as a strategy to grow the fan base. That's true. Consequently, this is not stealing. It becomes stealing when artists don't want their music to be bought for free and listeners download it online. To sum up, music shouldn't be free and the work behind songs must be appreciated. Sometimes, musicians want their music to be free so there is stealing when they don't want listeners to download it for free.
